| [15 Jul 05] :: Character Rotoscopes |
We have been working on some image Rotoscopes for the characters, if you don't know what that means, we refer to rotoscopes as drawings of the characters from the front, side view, etc, that way the character modelers can use them as reference as they model the characters.
Some character Rotoscopes that are ready are Kyah, Daliah, Morbus, and Gothax, so as time goes you should start seeing updates on the modeling part for this characters.

Hi everyone, we are gonna try to pick up the pace on the project, so the first production part of the project will be all targeted towards the West Legion so for the next few months this is what we will eath breath and ....., so to fill you in this is what we are expected to have done for the West Legion:
Legion Symbol:
This might be a good time to start a contest, give us your opinion.
Characters:
1st Clan = Gothax and Kyah
2nd Clan = Daliah and Shilo
3rd Clan = Robots or Knights ( it is still being decided )
Levels:
1 level
Each clan will have their own kingdom, we will build one of the clans kingdom as the level for each legion.
Other
we will most likely also have a contest for diferent outfits per clan, this might have criterias so the feel of the world and the clan stays the same.
Please give us feed back and let us know what kinds of things you would like to see in this Legion, I opened up a thread for discussion on this topic here is the link.

Alright so here is the scoop, the whole team has been very inactive, we have all been very busy with real life and have hardly been able to dedicate to time for bfp2  , About a couple of weeks ago we ponder the idea of killing the project, but just about the whole team does not want to see the project die. So we hope that from here on and we can be more active and very aggressive with the project, we have lost a couple of members because of the lack of time they can spend on the project, we thank them for giving a hand on the project, with this new change we will probly be adding a few more members to the team, we will announce when this will happen.
So unto bigger and better things, the project is going to take a new direction, with new technology on the way, we will be using normal mapping for the game, we will have a male and female character per race. a total of 12 races will be created. Here are some work in progress images that we have been working on our spare time, oh yea we are thinking about bringing Shilo back, yey! .
p.s. Dev Journals should be working now so keep an eye on them to see what other team members are doing. |
